No drop ride, riders of all abilities are welcome to attend. The ride will regroup if a rider has a mechanical, rest stop, etc.
Typical routes of 25-30 miles, back at the shop by noon
Rides will be cancelled if it is snowing, raining, or if the temperature is below 32 degrees.
Riders are welcome to hang out at the shop after the ride and have a cup of coffee and a bagel while you check out the latest in cycling technology.

YETI CYCLES Big Top 29'er
The Circus Tent has arrived at Adventure Cycling. The new 2011 Yeti Big Top 29 is on our showroom floor. This bike is the first of hopefully many to come in the Yeti 29er family of bicycles. True to the roots Yeti brought this bike up through the staff ranks and tested it over and over again on some of the most technical singletrack trails in the world. The Big Top features a tapered head tube. This paired with a Fox Float 29 15mm Thru Axle Fork increases the front in stability. The bike tracks rides as it is on rails with the slightly slacker head tube angle than other manufactures. The guys at Yeti knew this bike had to be versatile, so they added ISG tabs on the bottom bracket. The ISG system allows the bike to be set up as a single speed, 1 x 9, 1 x 10, etc. The direct mount front derailleur provides ample clearance for the rear tire and provides crisp front shifting. Finally, our personal favorite is the rear triangle versatility. The bike can be converted with the Chip system to run a 142 x 12 mm rear QR, or pop in the sliding drops for single speed fun. All and all Yeti once again hit the mark with this bike! Right out of the box for $2,700, the bike is specked with a high end 2011 2 X 10 Sram drive train, DT-Swiss 340 wheels, and Fox up front to mow over the big stuff.

The Ibis Mojo HD has finally arrived on our show room floor. The new Ibis Mojo HD, is going to be a hit on Colorado trails. The bicycle features a super light 160 mm travel frame set weighing an incredible 6.3 lbs. The full carbon all mountain rig also comes standard with the tapered head-tube and DW-Link suspension design. Our staff feedback from test rides is truly incredible. The DW-Link suspension provides the bike with exceptional climbing characteristics. The bicycle sits high in the stroke as you climb reducing pedal feedback, while having a progressive stroke rate as the shock goes through the rough stuff. In non-bike nerd terms, the bike does not blow through the travel, which is huge on a 6-inch rig.
