Power Motive Corporation was founded in 1959 as a distributor of small industrial construction equipment. The company has expanded its products to include Komatsu Construction and Utility, Material Handlers, Forestry Equipment, Aggregate Crushing and Screening, and several other equipment and product lines to serve the heavy construction and mining markets. The owners are a group of managers who are involved in all areas of the companys operations.
Headquartered in Denver, Power Motive has four locations throughout Colorado, and plans on opening three new locationstwo in Colorado and one in Wyoming. The company serves many markets that require off-road machinery by providing top quality equipment, supported by excellent repair and rebuild facilities, field service capabilities, well trained mechanics and a multimillion-dollar parts inventory.
