RoughRiders Take Home U16 AAA Division Bauer Invitational Championship

The Rocky Mountain RoughRiders U16 team brought home the U16 AAA Division Bauer Invitational Championship last weekend in Chicago. With an impressive 7-0 record over the weekend the RoughRiders outscored their opponents 41 to 5 in 7 games. Full story -

BHC Bantam AA's take 2nd in Vail Sportsmanship Tourney

Your BHC Bantam AA's took a disappointing second place in the 31st Annual Vail Sportsmanship Tournament. The boys were 4-0 heading into the Final against a depleated Renegages club, and the combination of some undisciplined play and frustrating officiating gave the Renegades a number of early power plays on which they capitalized, giving them an early 2-0 lead. The Bison finally got onto a power play and got to 2-1, but could not bury the tying goal, and lost the game by that score. The boys fought hard, improved and learned some valuable and tough lessons this weekend - up to Aspen next weekend for a scrimmage and league game vs. the Leafs.

BHC PWAA's WIN Quebec Qualifier and are headed to Quebec

Your BHC PWAA's beat DU 2-1 in the Championship last night, in dramatic fashion, scoring the game winner with 4 seconds left to play! They have now earned the
first Boulder PWAA berth -EVER- into the
Tournoi International de hockey Pee-wee de Québec !!!
They will travel to the famous Quebec City February 10-20 for a 10 game international festival on an all expenses paid trip sponsored by the Colorado Avalanche. More information on the famous Quebec Qualifier can be found by clicking here.

BHC PWAA QQ Win featured in between periods at Avs game !

BHC PWA Navy WIN Aspen Fall Face-off Tournament !

The PeeWee A Navy team came out on top at the Aspen Fall Face-Off. The team finished with a record of 5-0 including an overtime shootout win in the semi-finals. This was an outstanding effort by the entire team as 12 skaters recorded either a goal or an assist and for the tournament the team scored a total of 24 goals. On the defensive end, only 6 goals were allowed over the span of 5 games. A special note of recognition goes to Coach Tom McGann who after coaching the Squirt B Navy team to a win on Saturday, woke up at 2 am to drive to Aspen in enough time for the championship game. A special poem acknowledging Coach Tom's "Midnight Ride" can be viewed on the PeeWee A Navy team website.

In an effort to make hockey more affordable for our members, today BHC is announcing a program where BHC families can earn ice fee credits to lower or eliminate their ice fees for the 2010-11 season. The program allows BHC families to sell various sponsorships such as dasher board ads, banner ads and Zamboni ads within BVICE. BHC members who attract an advertiser(s) will receive 50% of the initial year's advertising revenue as credit toward their ice fees for the 2010-11 season. As an example, a member selling two dasher board ads would cover 100% of their ice fees for the season.
