Cornerstone is a Unique Faith Community because...
..we teach THE WHOLE STORY...
"in the beginning..." Genesis 1:1
God wrote the greatest love story ever told. It is one seamless story that begins in the book of Genesis and ends in the book of Revelation. Cornerstone's teaching connects the dots between our Jewish heritage and our faith in Jesus. Understanding how Israel and the Jewish people play a leading role throughout God's story is a vital part of knowing how to live out our faith today.
"Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength." Mark 12:30
We are physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual beings which is why the Cornerstone community is wired to nurture and support each of these areas. Inside our community, we have small groups and programs to meet these needs. Outside our community, our emphasis is on reaching who Jesus calls "the least of these" with every resource available to us.
"the earth is the LORD'S, and everything in it..." Psalm 24:1
The world, and everything in it, belongs to God and is on loan to us for our habitation and enjoyment. We have a responsibility to be good stewards of the resources God has provided for us. This includes the environment, our possessions, our family, our friends, our time, and our abilities. We make our primary goal in life, not to build our personal kingdoms, but to help build God's eternal kingdom.
Cornerstone values partnering with other churches and believers as often as possible. Unity is close to God's heart and is the mark of true faith. Just as Jesus was one with the Father, he prayed that we would be one with each other. We currently have many active local and global partnerships and continually seek to expand our networking.
