Senior Corinne Clemente read a Ralph Marston quote to wrap up the all school Thanksgiving assembly on Nov. 19. “What if you gave someone a gift, and they neglected to thank you for it- would you be likely to five them another? Life is the same way. In order to attract more of the blessing that life has to offer, you must truly appreciate what you already have.”
Four Decades of Community Celebrate The School's 40th Anniversary
The unusual sites of a fire pit and candles outside the Athletics Center welcomed nearly 400 members of the Dawson community into a warm gathering of four decades of parents, alumni, grandparents, faculty and staff together to celebrate Alexander Dawson School’s 40th anniversary on Nov. 13.

Lower School girls in their best party dresses and Upper School boys in suits assembled into the Aux Gym on Nov. 12 as a planned Spirit Day turned into a dress UP day in recognition of the 40th anniversary of Dawson School during an all school assembly to end the school day.

Dawson's only K-12 Town Council fundraising event, online Sally Foster sales, kicked off Nov 1 and runs through Dec 1! Lower, Middle and Upper School Town Councils will share up to 40 percent of the purchase proceeds! All items are under $21!
FIRST Lego League Team Goes 1-2 In Robot Design & Performance
The Dawson FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) Lego League team won Robot Design and placed second in Robot Performance at the Monarch H.S. qualifier on Nov 6. Because of their first place finish in Robot Design, they will move onto the State competition at University of Colorado at the Denver Auraria Event Center on December 11.
