Welcome to historic Bear Creek Cabins in Evergreen, Colorado. Nestled amongst towering Rocky Mountain pine and spruce trees are our lovely log cabins, recently renovated, inside and out. We are located 25 miles west of Denver and an easy, 52 mile drive from Denver International Airport. The cabins have been a resort destination since 1947. We offer log cabins with beautiful wood-burning fireplaces. All cabins have modern kitchens and baths and are nicely appointed. We also feature a 2 bedroom, 2 bath mountain home for lodging.
The cabins are located on a four season fly fishing stream. We have a great population of native brown trout and rainbow trout measuring up to 18 inches in length. A full service Orvis Shop with a fly fishing school is only minutes away from the cabins. Excellent guides and fishing trips are available to many Colorado Gold Medal waters nearby.
The Bear Creek Cabins features a beautiful picnic area between the cabin porches and the stream with barbecue grills and picnic tables only a few feet from the creek. The Evergreen area has many open space parks for hiking and mountain biking. Evergreen Lake is open for ice skating and ice fishing in the winter season and many ski areas are within 45- 90 minutes away.
The Evergreen Community has many wonderful restaurants and a local winery that is right on Bear Creek. There are many local art galleries and shops and several historic museums nearby. There truly is something for everyone in Evergreen!
