The new building will more than double the amount of seating, service, and food preparation space previously available. The new spaces will allow dramatically improved flexibility in scheduling and new possibilities for use during and after the academic day. The new dining hall will incorporate many features that will benefit students and the Kent Denver community. These include: expanded menu with new and healthier food options; cutting-edge composting and recycling programs to minimize waste and benefit the environment; and a working fruit orchard and kitchen garden with opportunities for student involvement.
