NEW MEXICO DISTRIBUTING began distribution of a line of Mexican food products (Green Chile, Enchiladas, Tamales Red Chile Powder and much more) in March of 1986. In 1990 the company was incorporated to Es Mi Tiempo servicing both retail and institutional markets throughout Colorado. Major retail accounts include Albertson’s, Grocery Warehouse, Safeway, Super K-Mart, King Soopers and Super Wal-Mart as well as several independent grocers. Our key products include, frozen Hatch Green Chile, Enchiladas and Tamales.
The institutional market includes various restaurants, hotel chains, hospitals and university cafeterias. Distribution along Colorado’s Front Range includes Greeley, Fort Collins, Boulder, Longmont, Aurora and the Denver Metropolitan area. In addition, New Mexico Distributing has expanded service to Southern Colorado, including Pueblo, Colorado Springs, Alamosa and Rocky Ford.
We sell roasted, peeled and frozen Hatch Green Chile! Our green chiles are grown in the Hatch Valley where we know we will always receive the best quality of Hatch Green Chiles. Please contact us on how you can receive Hatch Green Chile delivered to your door.
As the company continues to grow, other Mexican food products are being offered. A new line of Mexican candies, confections and dairy products has been added to the product line. In 2000 we introduced our own label, “New Mexico Select” ™, brand of Hatch Frozen Green Chile, Jalapeno, Posole, Enchiladas and Pork Rinds. New computer technology has also been incorporated into the company’s operations. State of the art distribution software and hardware are being used to facilitate and expedite transactions with all customers.
The owner and president, J. Robert Gallegos, recognizes the growth potential of a Mexican full-service line in Colorado and is committed to providing not only quality service, but also a top quality product line for this demographic.
