Welcome to the web site of Susan R. Fox, a Colorado Real Estate lawyer. Sue's office is located in the Cherry Creek area of Denver.
Sue Fox likes to quote brokers who have called her a "deal-maker." She enjoys advising business people, commercial and residential buyers and sellers, and commercial developers, landlords and tenants, working to close their transactions quickly and efficiently. She seeks to protect her clients' rights using strategies which will best serve their objectives, explaining the benefits and risks of various options, and helping them to evaluate the legal aspects of the transaction.
Another significant area of Sue's practice is counseling licensed brokers on meeting their legal and ethical responsibilities. Her background as regional counsel for CB Commercial (now known as CB Richard Ellis), as an active member of the Colorado Real Estate Commission's Standing Committee on Forms, and her participation on numerous Colorado Real Estate Commission task forces gives her a depth of experience of great value to her clients.
Sue Fox has practiced law in Denver since graduating from the University of Denver College of Law in 1976. After clerking for Hon. Zita Weinshienk in both Colorado and U.S. District Courts, and practicing commercial and real-estate related litigation for a number of years, she served as Regional Counsel for CB Commercial Real Estate (now CB Richard Ellis) for 4-1/2 years, giving her a unique view of real estate transactions from the brokers' perspective. Returning to private practice, she became increasingly focused on real estate litigation and then left litigation to concentrate solely on real estate and business transactions. Her previous litigation experience, however, serves her clients well, as she knows how to keep them out of court!
On October 3, 2006, Sue Fox was the legal member of the team of real estate professionals winning CREW Denver's Annual Networking Award. Sue represented DMI BioSciences, Inc., a biotech firm relocating to the Colorado BioScience Park, a project of the Fitzsimons Redevelopment Authority. Sue was also a nominee for CREW's Woman Who Makes a Difference Award.
She was honored to be the 08-09 President of the Rotary Club of Denver.
