In 2008 another significant victory for the law firms clients was obtained in the federal U.S. District Court case of Grace Church of the Roaring Fork Valley, et al. v. Board of County Commissioners of Pitkin County, et al. when a negotiated settlement was reached providing for damages, injunctive relief, attorneys fees and costs despite the existence of some of the most restrictive land use codes in the nation and opposition retained by Pitkin County of two nationally known law firms.
