Hi, welcome to my web site! My name is Dr. Beth Ritchie. I practice veterinary medicine in and around Buena Vista, Colorado.

I have a mobile veterinary service that provides medical services for your pet in the safety and comfort of your home.
I am a small companion animal Veterinarian. I decided to start my own mobile veterinary business because of the need I was seeing while I was working at the Buena Vista Veterinary Clinic from 1997 to 2000. Many times people would need us to make house calls for various reasons, and many times we were too busy to be able to help. My main objective was to help those who are homebound, and because of this I offer senior citizen and handicapped discounts. However, I have discovered the need for my services for animals that are too large or sick to move, for busy professionals who need a nighttime appointment, or for those who just prefer not to bring their animals into a hospital for an appointment. All are good reasons to use my services, and I enjoy meeting new client in their homes. It is so much more relaxing and enjoyable for everyone involved!
I do not have hospital facilities so my services are limited. However, the other Veterinarians in our area work well with me when I refer a patient to them for more involved medical care. I have the resources to do examinations, vaccinations, blood work, minor surgeries, convalescent care and euthanasia. I am always willing to discuss your pet's specific case over the phone before scheduling an appointment and will be happy to give you an estimate.
My service hours are Tuesday, Friday from 6:00 to 12:00 PM. Please call for an appointment with a weeks advance notice if possible.
