Thanks for taking the time to learn more about Springs Community Church on the web. As a community church in Colorado Springs we believe that grace, our gift from God, is all about how God gives us what we need to live the same kind of life Jesus lived. By grace we live each day of our lives, getting an interior life that more and more reflects the inner life Jesus had. And by grace we go back out to the streets to bless others with the same grace that has blessed us. We are committed to live our lives by God's grace and then bless others with God's incredible grace.
We meet on Sunday mornings at 8:45am & 10:30am, with the middle school youth meeting upstairs during the 10:30am service. High school students meet on Sunday nights. If there is anything you can't find, feel free to contact us. We'd love to answer any of your questions!

Wednesday Night Connections
Connect with others this fall as our Wednesday nights will be full of food, friends and fun. It all begins September 22nd with dinner at 6pm followed by Alpha, Financial Peace University or Divorce Recovery Workshop for adults, Revive for our middle school students at Pioneer Elementary, and something for children. Stop by the table in the atrium for more information.

Thanksgiving Meal Drive
This month partner with our preschool families to provide uncooked Thanksgiving meals for area families in need. Ideas for dinner include: turkey, stuffing, cranberry sauce, potatoes, gravy mix, green beans, cream of mushroom soup, rolls, butter, pumpkin pie, whipped cream, etc. Additionally gift cards are accepted for perishable items such as meat, fresh produce, baked goods. Donations are accepted until November 21 in the church office.
Storytime with Pastor Ben - 2nd and 4th Thursdays of Every MonthChildren of all ages, accompanied by a favorite adult, are invited to enjoy a fun, creative and engaging story hour every 2nd and 4th Thursday of the month from 10:30-11:30am in the atrium. Contact Pastor Ben.
Childrens Choir for Christmas
We invite all children, from preschool age through grade 4 to join our Childrens Choir for Christmas. We will rehearse on five consecutive Sundays, November 21 through December 19, from 10 to 10:20 am (between services). Join us for rehearsal in Classroom 208 (third floor east). We are preparing to sing at the Christmas Music Program at 5 pm on December 12 and at both Sunday morning church services on December 19. It is that time of the year were we begin thinking about our new consistory members. For 2011, we will have one position of elder and two positions of deacons coming available. We desire to make this a Spirit-led process of discerning whom the Lord would have us place within these positions of leadership. If there is someone within our congregation who would serve well as either an Elder or Deacon, would you prayerfully consider recommending them to the nominations team. Our Vice President of consistory, Mark Sulcer, is heading this process up and would be the person to make any recommendations to. He can be contacted through the church office or his email, ulcer@msn.com.

All high school, college and adult males are invited to a mens pick-up basketball game from 6:30-8:30pm each Monday night at Pioneer Elementary School near the church. Suggested donations: $3-5/person to cover gym rental. FMI contact Bill Fish, 499-5058.
