Rio Grande River
The scene along the Rio Grande is beautiful, but you will be more impressed by the large wild fish feeding on a foray of Salmon flies and other stoneflies, Green Drakes, Caddis, smaller mayflies, and Hoppers. The Gold Medal Water of this section was subject of a recent article in the Denver Post, "Chasing a perfect drift" literally because of the lack of crowd, and for the long "Perfect" drifts that your fly will attain while floating this river.
The Conejos - a relatively little known river - is fast and becoming a popular fishery with its abundant dry fly hatches and ability to produce large Rainbows and Browns. The scenery is absolutely incredible in the Conejos river valley. You can expect surface action throughout the entire season with excellent mayfly hatches during rainy season. If you have fished this area, or have ever wanted to you won't want to pass up this opportunity!
San Juan River
Looking to service our Pagosa Springs, and South Fork clients, Wolf Creek Anglers is now offering San Juan, Upper Piedra, Williams Creek, Weminuche Creek, Turkey Creek, Fourmile, East Fork of the San Juan, and a quite of few smaller creeks in the area. We are one of very few outfitters that can take you into the Weminuche Wilderness area. There are places that fewer than a dozen people get to see a year, places that people see once in a lifetime!
Wolf Creek Anglers acquires new waters on the Upper San Juan watershed including Upper Piedra, Williams Creek, Weminuche Creek, Turkey Creek and Fourmile creek.
