Welcome to Academy of Guitar on the web. This site is an extension of the physical location of Academy of Guitar located in Fort Collins, Colorado. It is designed to augment the learning experience of our current students, as well as being a destination for guitarists wanting a simple, effective curriculum for learning their instrument. Whether you are just beginning or are currently playing guitar, this site has something for everyone; from a step by step lesson program to advanced techniques brought to you by some of the worlds most talented guitarists.

Academy of Guitar was founded by Jesse Solomon in 1996. It addresses the needs of guitarists that are looking for a way to understand their instrument better and have the tools and confidence to interact with other musicians. Academy of Guitar has also served as a place for guitarists and other musicians to meet and share their music with each other. With our 3500 square foot school that houses private lesson rooms, media room, classroom/labs, performance hall, and lounge; our students have a lot of resources and opportunities to reach their goals. This site is another resource for our students to embellish their learning experience. We hope to reflect the same ideals that we have created for our students at our school for our online students. We hope that you gain the knowledge, develop the skills and use this site as a forum to share what you are learning with each other.
