ALTUS has opened a new location!
We are pleased to announce that we have recently opened a new office in Denver. Josh Stewart has moved up from Pueblo to join Brian Mulvany in the Denver office.
ALTUS' Brad Thoms, recently published his research on the use of a zero-valent iron permeable reactive barrier to remove explosives from groundwater.The results of the field study and corresponding flow and transport modeling indicate significant flow reduction through the barrier due to mineral precipitation. The results were published in the lead article of the Summer 2008 edition of Groundwater Monitoring and Remediation (volume 28, no. 3) and can be viewed here and here.
