Adoption Fees Waived for Veterans and Active Military Personnel
As a special thanks to our service men and women, Larimer Humane Society is waiving adoption fees on all cats and dogs age one year and over, and any small mammal, for active and veteran military service members. Now through close of business Sunday, November 14th, veterans and active military personnel are invited to visit our shelter at 6317 Kyle Avenue in south Fort Collins to pick out a furry friend. If you are active military service or a veteran in the American Armed Forces, we wish to honor and thank you for your service to our country and community by offering this special fee-waived Veteran’s Day adoption discount. Military I.D. is required.

2011 Wall calendars featuring each of our 12 of 12,000—A Celebration of Second Chances ambassador animals and their touching stories are available at several area locations including the Larimer Humane Society shelter (6317 Kyle Avenue, Fort Collins) and administrative building (5137 S. College Avenue, Fort Collins). Calendars are $10 each and follow a traditional 12-month format noting major holidays.
