Happy November, everyone! The weather has been pretty decent so far, with only a skiff of snow in October, so here’s hoping for a nice November, too!

We’ve got more great level 1 progressive Salsa lessons this month, starting Tuesday the 2nd and continuing on the 9th, 16th, and 30th, skipping the 23rd for the Thanksgiving holiday, upstairs at the Rio. Only $35 for all four weeks or $10 per class gets you some of the best Salsa instruction around to get your tail feather shakin’ out on the dance floor! Plus, your class fee pays for that night’s dancing so you can practice what you learn. Since these are beginning level classes, no experience or partner is necessary, and you can pay at the door or online, so there’s no excuse not to learn the most caliente dance around! Still just $3 for the dance, 8:00 to 10:30pm every Tuesday in the Agave Room upstairs at the Rio.
Need to put a little more Swing in your step? Sick of the four moves you remember from you last lesson or a little apprehensive on the dance floor? Come to the Jumpin’ JiveCats’ Fall Into Swing workshop on Saturday, November 13th! With two tracks for beginning and intermediate level Lindy Hoppers, there’s something for everyone from 10:00am to 3:40pm at the Colorado Academy of the Arts at 1608 Riverside Drive!

10:00am - 11:00am: Build Your Basics (level 1) / Connect To Your Partner (level 2)
11:10am - 12:10pm: Super Solo Charleston (all levels)

Progressive Lindy Hop lessons start again in January, so for now, join us every Monday night at Avo’s, 605 S Mason Street - 7:30pm lesson, 8:00 to 10:30 dancing.
There’s no better way to stay warm this November than to do some hot dancing, so we’ll see you on the dance floor!
