Changing Landscapes, Inc. offers a complete cycle of services, from conception and design, working with your landscape architect, or utilizing the skills of our own on-staff designers and consultants.
We begin with the hardscape phase of grading and contouring the soil,

Meandering wet or dry streambeds, blooming water gardens, koi ponds and splashing waterfalls can be incorporated into your landscape. With sub-surface watering and highly technological irrigation controllers for automated systems, we employ water-wise techniques to generate living and self-replenishing ecosystems even in the driest of seasons. We utilize indigenous and xeric plants whenever possible. Changing Landscapes, Inc. is a green companyrecycling all plant and construction materials that can be reused.
In the final phase of landscaping, we plant colorful and fragrant garden beds, healthy shrubbery and hardy shade trees. Strategic lighting illuminates a nighttime garden, porch or patio. Custom lighting stretches the post-dusk hours for optimum enjoyment of your landscape, during the changing seasons and shorter daylight hours. In the bleakest of the dormant months, strategically illuminated boulders, shadowy evergreens and structural plant forms that stretch up through the drifting snow provide starkly beautiful winterscapes.
When spring returns with bursts of colorful blooms, your landscape sanctuary draws butterflies and songbirds, accompanied by the gentle rush of water from a sparkling water feature.
In business since 1986, Changing Landscapes Inc., is an award-winning firm, having won five ALCC (Associated Landscape Contractors of Colorado) Awards of Excellence since 2005, including one Grand Award in Special Areas. The other ALCC categories were in Landscape Construction, another in Special Areas, and one each in Renovation and in Wall Construction. We have also been awarded three Colorado Home Book Awards, two Golds in Architecture/Construction, and in Stone and Tile work, plus an honorable mention in Outdoor Architectural Elements. These honors were awarded on projects which were created in collaboration with Tom Altgelt, Landscape Architect of Altgelt and Associates. Changing Landscapes is fully insured and is a member of the Denver/Boulder Better Business Bureau. We are proud of our very competent and highly experienced team.
