When you visit a grave on Memorial Day, what do you see? Headstones marching in perfect formation over rolling green lawns? Maybe you see headstones scattered here and there with fences around family plots. Are there flowers? Trees? Bushes? Water? Do the surroundings remind you of your loves ones who have passed?
The vision that became The Cremation Gardens at Rocky Mountain Memorial Park was to create a cremation cemetery that resembled Colorado with native plants, flowers and a lot of personality just like those we love.
That vision became reality in 2004. The Cremation Gardens are a truly special and unique place with waterfalls, a koi pond, fountains, flowers, plants, grasses, an outdoor chapel, and personality. It is a place where you can rest, reflect, and pay respects. It is a place of serenity where all are welcome.
Rocky Mountain Memorial Park has been designated an Official Wildlife Habitat through the National Wildlife Federation (Certificate #58590), a mini-refuge through gardening and landscaping to provide a quality habitat for wildlife to find food, water, cover, and places to raise their young.
Here - memorials come in all shapes, sizes and materials. They are nestled in flowers and around water. They create a lasting memorial for individuals, couples, and families. There are also special places to create a memorial for those who are buried elsewhere or scattered.
