DRESSING TIPS Many women find that all men look better in a tuxedo. But contrary to appearance, not all tuxedos are alike. Subtle differences in jackets, collars, and pants styles can be flattering or fatal, depending on your body type. Pick the tuxedo that's best for your body type.

Short, Slender men should look for single-breasted jackets with long lines, a low-button stance (it elongates the body), and wide peak lapels. Other styles options include wearing a double-breasted tuxedo jacket or a subtly patterned vest and tie. Selection of the right pant style is key, too. Reverse double-pleated trousers are a good choice for men with short, slender frames. And the perfect pant leg should always break slightly on top of the shoe and angle a bit downward in back.
Short, Stocky men with athletic or muscular body types look best in tuxedo jackets with slim shawl collars. The top button should fall at the small of the waist to give the torso a leaner look. Also, choose jackets with a natural should line and avoid the more broad European styles. When it comes to pants, reverse double-pleated trousers with pleats extending toward the pockets tend to offer the best comfort and style. Pants should extend as low as possible on the foot, angled slightly in the back to elongate the leg.
Tall, Husky Pay attention to sleeve lengths. A tall man's fingertips should touch the bottom of the jacket. Men with thick necks and wide faces should skip wing tip collars and choose spread collars with fuller bow ties.
Tall, Slim men look well in just about every tuxedo style. An especially good choice is a double-breasted tuxedo with slightly broad shoulders and a suppressed waist. Jacket buttons closed up high on the waistline look especially good, and a high shoulder line is better than a natural one. Garments should be full, while still following the lines of the body, and trousers should also have a higher rise with more of a break in the pant. This body type can easily wear vests and ties in colors and patterns.

Fit: To avoid wedding day mishaps, the groom and groomsmen should try their tuxedos on for final fittings (including studs and cufflinks) before leaving the formalwear rental shop.

STUFF TO KNOW FOR PROM
Maybe this is your first formal event. Maybe you went last year. It doesn't matter. It does pay to know some of the basics when it comes to good etiquette and good manners.

DO'S & DON'TS OF PROM NIGHT:
Here are a few things to keep in mind for the event - and they're all painless!

Don't Drive With Your Coat On... if you can avoid it. This will keep your tux from being wrinkled in any pictures.
Don't Just Honk Your Horn... and expect her to come running! It is the 'Big Night' and she expects you to come to the door. And, this is a major photo opportunity for her family (and probably yours, too).
She Goes Through All Doors First... and that means you open doors for her - including car doors. And don't forget to close the car door, too!
You Walk On The Curb Side... if you're on a sidewalk, you always walk on the curbside and she walks to the inside of you.
You Help Her To Be Seated... it's not a big deal to simply pull her chair out for her if you go to dinner or are seated at a table. As she sits, a little nudge on her chair is appreciated.
She Orders First... if you go to dinner. Or you order for her. If you're going with another couple, the women always order before the men. And, keep your tuxedo coat on for dinner, never over the back of your chair!
She Gets The First Dance... with you and you with her. If you're not the dancing type, at least get up the nerve to dance at least one dance with her. You may find that you are not that bad!
