Randy's High Country Towing Inc., has been serving customers in the Colorado Springs area since 1974. We are located at 1205 East Las Vegas Street. Our facility is a 17-acre lot with security fence and a 24-hour surveillance system. The office building, 24-hour dispatch center, and repair shop are also at the same location.

Randy's High Country Towing, Inc. has evolved over the past 32 years from one truck to a fleet of 40 trucks. Randy and Pati Schranz, along with their two children, Layne and Lisa, started Randy's Towing in their home in 1974.
Previous to starting his own business, Randy worked eight years towing for another business. With one truck and lots of determination Randy set out on his own. Three hours as a new business he got his first tow job. Pati became the entire office, as well as mom of to young children. The home phone become Randy's Towing, the mailbox was off limits for fear the phone would ring and a customer could not be helped. As the children grew so did the business. Layne joined his father in the tow business for many years. He drove any vehicle that needed to be driven in order to get the job done. Layne became operations manager, and then moved on to become a youth pastor in Alabama. Pati ran the business office for many years by herself. Through the years dispatchers, bookkeepers and receptionist have joined the family. With over 35 employees the family business has expanded to better serve the Colorado Springs community.

We offer inside storage for special circumstances or owner request. We are open Monday - Friday from 8:00a.m. to 5:00pm for customers to pick-up, release, and inspect vehicles. In some cases we request the customer to have an appointment, after hours and weekend service is available.

Randy's Towing has 40 trucks capable of towing small cars and trucks up to tractor trailers, heavy equipment, buses, and any kind of recovery work including the use of air bags. We have 302 years of combined experience and operate 24 hours a day 7 days a week, including all holidays, since 1974. We currently have 13 office staff and 21 drivers with 14 being TRAA certified.
