What is the difference between the Trailer and the Tent?
The trailer is a self enclosed vehicle that is fully equipped for Sunless Tanning. The Tent is a popup that is used for inside the customer's home. It is a very roomy 4' x 4' tent. It has a filtered exhaust fan that collects all the excess spray. There is no reason to worry about your home getting messy from the spray, it has been tested on a white sheet and there was no residue found anywhere! I usually use the tent when there is bad weather and it is difficult to travel with the trailer.
For what occasions would I use Airbrush Tanning?
Airbrush tanning is perfect for parties, prom, weddings, going on vacation, any special occasion or maybe it's because you just want a tan! It just takes 10 minutes! It's the easiest and most convenient way to get a healthy, sexy tan! See reduced rates above.
Is it safe?
Absolutely! Sunless Airbrush Tanning has become the SAFEST, MOST EFFECTIVE way to tan! We will give you the most natural-looking tan possible, without the harmful effects of UV rays. You will no longer need to worry about further skin damage or cancer risks when you tan with us.
I heard that it is hard to breathe when I am getting sprayed, is that true?
No, the technician is using an airbrush so there is only a fine mist of solution spraying on the client. The airbrush gives you the most even over-all application vs. the spray booths that you can use. The spray booths are what make it difficult to breathe in because you are doused in solution like a car wash and it is difficult to breathe. Our salon trailer and tent are equipped with high-powered exhaust fans that we use, so there are literally no vapors in the air.
Will I turn orange, does the tan look natural?
The tan never looks orange!! Airbrush Tanning on Wheels is your best choice for sunless tanning. We use Breeze products, which is the no. 1 choice in airbrush tanning products. We have 4 different tones that we use - depending on the person's coloring. Your Airbrush Tanning Technician will decide which tone to use on you when she sees you. The tan always looks natural. The initial spray gives you a nice glow, but you will turn darker as the hours pass.
Will the tan protect me from the sun?
No, you'll still need to wear sunscreen when you go outdoors. Fake tans don't generate melanin protection, so they won't protect you against sunburn. But, you will get the warm glow of a tan while you keep your skin beautiful for years to come.
How long will it last?
Anywhere up to 14 days. It depends on many factors. Do you have dry or oily skin? It tends to work better on dry skin. Do you use moisturizers? If you moisturize well after your first shower and don't exfoliate, you will extend the life of the tan. The tan only affects your outer layer of skin, and we all shed our skin at different rates. If you go somewhere where there is more humidity, it will also last longer. On average, if you stay in Colorado, it will last about 7 days. Airbrush Tanning on Wheels also has a tan extender lotion or spray available that will prolong the life of your tan.
Should I have it done more than once for my event?
No, it is not necessary. I find that if you do, it tends to look muddy or dirty and fake. One time is all you need.
Does your technician have a lot of experience?
Yes, our technician has tanned over 1,800 people and has been tanning people for over 7 years. Breeze will only certify you when you have tanned over 800 people.
Where do I get my tan?
Airbrush Tanning on Wheels has renovated a pull trailer into an airbrush tanning salon. It is equipped with everything needed to give you that fantastic tan you have always wanted! Or we will come to your home with our equipment/tent and do it in the privacy of your home. All you need to do is call us and schedule your appointment and location and we will be there to give you that tan that you desire!
What do I need to do to prepare my skin before my spray tan?
You have 2 choices: 1. Shower, exfoliate your body, do not apply moisturizer, make-up or deodorant. -or- 2. Come as you are and we will spray your body with an Exfoliator Spray prior to your spray tan for an addt'l $5.00.
What are your hours?
We have no set hours. Appointments are based on clients' schedules and needs.
