We are in Basalt Colorado, just 20 minutes from Aspen and Snowmass and 30 minutes from Glenwood Springs and Interstate 70. The Aspenalt Lodge is located in Old Town Basalt; within close walking distance to all the shops and restaurants.

In addition to being your Aspen Alternative Hotel in Basalt, we are also in prime fly fishing country… our hotel is located directly on the bank of the Frying Pan River, our riverview rooms look down on the river, and we're located close to 2 fine flyfishing shops. The Frying Pan and the Roaring Fork come together right outside Basalt, and both are considered Gold Medal flyfishing!
