Passionately serving the pets of our community. We are the right veterinary clinic for you! When you walk in the door at Redstone Animal Hospital Littleton, our focus is on you and your pet! We are a small hospital, we only book one appointment at a time to eliminate your waiting and our rushing. Even though our animal hospital is small, we have advanced medical technology- digital x-ray equipment, video otoscopy (for examining your pet's ears), and full monitoring for anesthesia (to name a few)! We are also fully equipped to deal with any emergencies. Not only do we hold ourselves to a very high medical standard, we focus on compassionate care and client education. We understand that you and your pet may both be stressed when walking through our doors but once they get to know us, a lot of our patients LOVE coming in here!

Our mission at Redstone Animal Hospital is to deliver high quality medical care for your pet at a fair price, with a focus on compassionate care and client education. We also strive to make the veterinary visit a pleasant experience for your pet.

Some of our areas of expertise:

-Working with clients that have older animals with arthritis and mobility problems

-Helping your pet to achieve their perfect weight.

-Spay and neuter and other surgeries

-Ear disease: Many Colorado dogs are afflicted with chronic ear disease. We have advanced technology that helps us to take care of the current issue and get to the root of the underlying problem.

-Dentistry: We would like to talk with you about home dental care options so that we can prevent dental disease in your pet.

-Client education: We are dedicated to educating you to be the best health care advocate for your pet. You are our first line of defense in detecting and preventing problems.

Come in and see what our clients are talking about. Your pets are part of your family and that's exactly how they will be treated here at Redstone Animal Hospital!

NEW: DOG TRAINING CLASSES

Dr. Laura Downie graduated from Colorado State University School of Veterinary Medicine. Upon graduation, she was selected for a prestigious small animal internship at Oradell Animal Hospital in Paramus, New Jersey. Her focus was on internal medicine, surgery, and emergency medicine. Following the internship, she practiced for seven years at Westside Veterinary Center, located on the Upper West Side of New York City. In New York City, Dr Downie became known as a feline medical expert. In 2009, Dr. Downie and family decided to return to her native Littleton, Colorado. In her free time, she enjoys tennis, snowboarding, spending time with her family (2 young children) and volunteering at the Humane Society of the South Platte Valley in Littleton. Her pet family consists of 3 cats (Mittens, Melanie and Mr Man) and 2 dogs (Heidi and Sparkles). Dr. Downie's goal during each and every veterinary visit is to get to know you and your pet and to prevent medical problems before they happen. She strives to find a diagnostic and therapeutic plan that is right for you and your pet and your budget. Some of her areas of expertise include: dentistry, internal medicine, geriatric feline medicine, nutrition, and managing chronic ear infections.
