Family-owned and operated since 1967
Jerry Nudd started the Denver Signs business out of his basement working with his son Mike Nudd. The business moved to its current location of 1701 31st Street in 1973. At that time Jerry started expanding his horizons and moved into producing lighted signs of all kinds. Jerry Nudd retired in 1981 and Mike Nudd took over ownership of the company. During the 1980s, the company continued to grow by employing the finest craftsmen in the industry and acquiring the finest equipment available. Denver Sign Systems Inc. became incorporated in 1991, and started branching out to national sign companies for installation in the Denver market. Denver Sign Systems, Inc. has been serving national sign companies such as Cummings, Dualite, Persona Inc., Blair Sign Companies, and many others for the past 20 years. Denver Sign Systems Inc. is still a leading sign company in the Denver market serving many local businesses such as B & C Surf & Sport, Old Santa Fe Mexican Grille, Smoker Friendly, Shamrock Foods, and many other satisfied customers. Mike Nudd is still active in the company while making the transition of ownership to his sons, Mick and Dan.
